This frame and disc chain combo is turning heads amongst farmers and winning acclaim, having taken out the Machine of the Year Award at the 2023 Wimmera Field Days.

But let’s look at the real world benefits you’ll get from using a Bute Frame.
The first improvements you’ll notice are the chain locators. These are placed over the wing, giving the setup a low, clean profile. The hydraulic tensioning is connected through the same system as the hanger height, providing easy folding of the machine.
And safety still comes first with these frames.
Bute included over-centre sequence valves on every ram, automatically stopping the machine if the hose were to accidentally burst. You’ll see that the wheels are all uniform across the frame, with dual rocker wheels handling vibration and making field operation smoother across all terrain.
The combination of these dual castor wheels, big tires, and quality brakes ensures a stable operation and peace of mind. Once all folded up, you can travel at up to 60km/h on the road with the frame.

Bute Discs’ history with frames stretches right back to 1995 when they started making sturdy, cutting edge frames, operating out of Bute in the mid-north of South Australia. With their innovative thinking, they invented and patented the Bute disc chains in 2012. As our disc chains started to take the world by storm we went all in on this part of the business, wanting to ensure we did right by farmers with our disc quality.
Fast forward to 2022, and we were getting more and more farmers asking us to get back into frames. With fresh ideas and a unique perspective in the industry, Bute Discs is proud to start providing market-leading tillage frames for farmers once again.
