Brothers' innovative bin is fast and smart

As featured in The Land, May 2026

BROTHERS Kaidan and Dallas Boyd founded their company Clear Ridge Fabrication in response to the challenges their family had faced while broadacre farming in NSW.

Their flagship product the SUPA bin was designed to tackle the safety risks of traditional farming by reducing the need to for tipping trucks up in the paddock or on uneven ground.

"“Tipping in the paddock wasn't safe and wasn’t efficient, we knew there had to be a better solution”. said Kaidan

The importance of safety was driven home for the Boyd family after a local farmer was killed when his trailer tipped over. This heartbreaking incident highlighted the dangers of conventional farming equipment and served as a catalyst for the brothers to make a change.

"We didn't want to design something only after someone's life was lost, but unfortunately, that's often what motivates chaNge" says KaidAn Boyd

We had the idea for our SUPA Bin – which is basically a semi-trailer with a conveyor belt underneath, which delivers the grain to the rear of the trailer”

The delivery belt eliminates the need for tipping and has a discharge capacity of up to four tonnes per minute.

Mr Boyd said this feature, in combination with remote-controlled compartment doors, makes the SUPA Bin the perfect unit for drive-over hoopers.

The high-capacity rear discharge belt also ensures the SUPA Bin is an efficient and user-friendly way to transfer grain back to on-farm storage at harvest time. “I know a lot of farmers are also worried about cross-contamination and as an added benefit, we have eliminated this with the SUPA Tube. (Replacing conventional auger)

“The design ensures no grain is left behind when cleared.” Mr Boyd said the integrated remote control aspect of the SUPA Bin reduces many of the risks associated with traditional equipment, including the need to be physically close to the machine during operation

“It is fast. smart, safe and and Australian-made.” says Kaidan Boyd
