CRF Bute Disc Demo Day – A Huge Success

The CRF Bute Disc Demo Day brought together over 100 farmers and contractors for a hands-on look at some of the best gear in the industry.

The CRF Bute Disc Demo Day brought together over 100 farmers and contractors for a hands-on look at some of the best gear in the industry. Held at Nargoondi, 31km from West Wyalong at Lake Cowal, we were fortunate to have a generous local farmer open up his paddock for the event.

It was a hot, dusty, and sometimes windy day, but that didn’t stop attendees from turning up in numbers to see live demonstrations of the Bute Disc, Turbine Blade option, and CRF’s custom-built SUPA Bins & Chaser Bins.

An Exciting Partnership with Bute Disc

We were thrilled to have Kent, the owner of Bute Disc, join us to educate farmers on his Australian-made, innovative disc frames. CRF is excited to announce our partnership with Bute Disc, bringing their cutting-edge gear to farmers in the Central West. We trust the gear and are proud to promote it.

Just like with our CRF-built products, we will be your go-to for sales, service, and support. Kaidan will be the key contact for all enquiries, orders, and servicing needs in select areas, ensuring the same quality and reliability that CRF is known for. A big part of this event was letting farmers know that CRF is now your local Bute Disc sales agent.

What farmers had to say

We looked at all the brands, and Bute stood out to us.

George and her partner Blair, who recently purchased a Bute Disc for their contracting business ‘B&G Rural’, were eager to see the Turbine Blade option in action. “It was good to see the turbine blade in action—we haven’t seen them yet.”

Blair shared their research process: “We looked at all the brands, and Bute stood out to us. The features we liked were the hydraulic tension, the compact fold, and the fact that it doesn’t need an escort. Plus, no crossover chains was a big standout for us.”

It was like nothing I've ever seen before.

Garry Manning from Collingullie, our lucky door prize winner, was impressed: “It was like nothing I’ve ever seen before, in that configuration. I think it does a fantastic job, especially in that kind of stubble.”

The framework is certainly pretty heavy—which you've gotta have because of the speed you're doing.

Robert appreciated the robust build: “The framework is certainly pretty heavy—which you’ve gotta have because of the speed you’re doing.”

A Well-Deserved Prize

A huge congratulations to Garry Manning for taking home the 40L engel fridge/freezer as the lucky door prize winner!

What a top prize to win at the end of a 36-degree day—perfect for keeping things cool in the paddock or on the road. Good on you Garry!

A Huge Thanks to Everyone Who Made It Happen

We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended and made the effort to come out in the heat. Also, a shoutout to the West Wyalong Lions Club for providing cold drinks and a top-notch BBQ lunch—which CRF proudly covered, so attendees could enjoy a feed on us.

This event was just the beginning. We’re proud to stand behind Bute Disc’s Australian-made, innovative equipment, which aligns perfectly with CRF’s commitment to quality, durability, and farmer-focused solutions.

Maybe we will see you at the next one, watch this space!
